The Mom’s Weekend Fashion Show, held each spring in Pullman, is an excellent showcase for design/merchandising synergy. This event features apparel lines created by WSU’s very own apparel design students and the promotional abilities of its merchandising students.

 

The Mom’s Weekend Fashion Show, an annual project sponsored by our International Textile and Apparel Association student chapter (WSU ITAA), encourages active participation of students in the program. This event provides both opportunities for professional and personal development. By working hard on such a major production, students gain teambuilding and networking skills, accountability, and a sense of accomplishment.
